Air Filter Housing Overview






1 Intake Hose

Make sure it is secure.

Clean if there are contaminants.

To the adapter (see - item 35 - in the => [ Turbocharger and Components Overview ] Turbocharger and Components Overview) on the turbocharger.

2 Mass Airflow Sensor (G70)

3 O-ring

Replace if damaged.

4 Vacuum Hose

Make sure it is seated correctly and is routed without kinks.

From the silencer.

Vacuum hose connection diagram. Refer to => [ Vacuum System Overview ] Vacuum System Overview.

5 Bolt

2 Nm

6 Upper Air Filter Housing

7 Intake Air Duct

Bolted to the lock carrier.

8 Bolt

5 Nm

9 Intake Air Duct

Make sure it is secure.

Clean if there are contaminants.

10 Water Drain Hose

Clean if there are contaminants.

11 Lower Air Filter Housing

12 Intake Hose

For the warm air intake.

Make sure it is secure.

Clean if there are contaminants.

From the warm air collector plate (see - item 2 - in the => [ Turbocharger and Components Overview ] Turbocharger and Components Overview) on the exhaust manifold.

13 Bolt

8 Nm

A permanent bolt.

14 Snow Screen

Clean if there are contaminants.

15 Air Filter Element

Always use an original equipment air filter element. Refer to the Parts Catalog.

Follow the replacement intervals.

16 Bolt

3.5 Nm
