Door Handle and Door Lock Overview

• The illustration shows a left fender. The right fender is identical.






1 Door Lock

• Door lock can only be removed in conjunction with subframe

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Door Lock ] Front Door Lock.

2 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 4 Nm

• For lock cylinder

3 Mounting Bracket

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Mounting Bracket ] Mounting Bracket.

4 Lock Cylinder

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Lock Cylinder ] Lock Cylinder.

• Only the driver door has a lock cylinder.

5 Backing

6 Cover

• Driver side with lock cylinder, removing and installing, refer to => [ Lock Cylinder Cover Cap ] Lock Cylinder Cover Cap.

• Passenger side without lock cylinder, removing and installing, refer to => [ Cap without Lock Cylinder ] Service and Repair.

7 Door Handle

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Door Handle ] Front Door Handle.

8 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 1 Nm

• Mounting bracket is disengaged from door by loosening this bolt.

9 Cable

• From the door lock to the mounting bracket.

10 Cable

• For unlocking the lock by the interior door mechanism.

• With grommet as pass-through on subframe.

11 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm

• Quantity: 2
